YarnGPT is an innovative AI text-to-speech platform specializing in Nigerian-accented English, serving content creators, educators, and businesses across Africa and globally. YarnGPT leverages advanced language modeling and is built on open-source foundations, enabling natural-sounding, culturally relevant speech synthesis with support for 11 distinct voice personas (6 male and 5 female).

Founded by Nigerian university student and AI innovator Saheed Azeez, YarnGPT has gained notable support, including sponsorships for model training and contributions from enthusiasts passionate about African technology. The project supports multiple voice personas and is expanding to local African languages including Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo, making it one of the few models specifically designed for African English variants and indigenous languages.
