Founded by Owoade Apotierioluwa, Nnaji Maryann, Mac-asore David, and Ibiang Emmanuel, Reedapt emerged from a critical gap in existing AI dubbing tools that failed to accurately represent African voices and dialects. The platform addresses accent bias in AI translation systems and provides contextual intelligence that recognizes cultural nuances, idioms, and homonyms specific to African languages including Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, and Pidgin, as well as over 50 international languages. This dual-function tool enables users to dub content across multiple language pairs while offering real-time interpretation services that allow speakers to be heard in multiple languages simultaneously.

Reedapt is positioning itself as the essential infrastructure for African content creators, Nollywood producers, educators, and businesses to export their work globally without compromising cultural identity. Currently serving 200 active users ranging from individual creators to organizations, the platform aims to support 1,800 languages within the next five years.
