Isazi is a pioneering South African AI and machine learning company that has been at the forefront of data science innovation since 2012. Named after the isiZulu word for ‘bearer of knowledge’ or ‘scientist’, Isazi was founded by three academics – Ashley Anthony (a geophysicist), Dario Fanucchi (an algorithmist), and Dr. Obakeng Moepya (a data scientist) – who shared a vision to bridge the gap between advanced research and real-world business transformation. What started as a consultancy with the bold promise of solving complex problems that large firms couldn’t crack has evolved into a product-focused technology company delivering AI solutions from Africa to the world.

Their notable achievements include helping Unilever save €4 million in just 5 weeks through their Hudson platform, and being recognized as the ‘Most Recommended AI Company’ at Senthec Africa Tech Week.
